We were welcomed to a lovely view and our very own pair of black swans. A very well appointed unit – we especially appreciated the dishwasher and the coded key lock enabling independent access. We really appreciated the reading matter about Port Arthur and found the book about The Isle of the Dead fascinating.

Hello and thank you for a wonderful clean place to stay. This is the best one we have stayed in so far and we’ve stayed in a lot. The fire gives off a lovely ambience and a nice warm feel. The weather has been cold but OK. It has just started to rain but we are going anyway. The view is lovely. I have been sitting and watched the birds. It was also lovely that when we went on a cruise at Port Arthur we could look down and see the house. I hope very much to be back again and will tell everyone back home about this.

The peace and tranquillity after just a few days on the road was great. The space and the trio of swans improved the sense of peace. A longer stay than overnight would be great.

I love the place, it is so cosy and warm. I love the quilt on the wall. The TV is so cool with the touch screen remote. The view is so beautiful, I took so many pictures. This is the best accommodation we have booked so far. It has the warmth of a house, impeccable, fully-equipped of course the views leaves me stuck for words. Friendly neighbour that checked on us was great. My 10 and 12 year olds were entertained and that’s important. I will definitely be marketing this accommodation to friends back in Melbourne.

A truly delightful place, we would like to thank you so much for sharing your wonderful part of God’s creation with us. The water was a great attraction for Josh, and it was fun to watch the swans each day. This delightful little home was so central to everything we needed and we will be taking a very good report home with us. We hope to be back again. God willing.

We are a family of 5 and we were impressed with the complete facility that comes with the house like electric blankets, kitchen sets, awesome TV, DVD player and DVD’s. My parents fell in love with the scenery and friendly neighbour horses. The kids love the view, it is breathtaking. Overall this has been one of the best family trips we ever had. You guys are so lucky to own this beautiful house.

This is the last stop in a tour around Tasmania and the best accommodation by far. If we had known the accommodation here was this good we would have arranged to stay more than 1 night. The only fault is as previously mentioned another couch upstairs would be good. But a great house, just wish I had bought a fishing rod.

We had two great days at Burilda Waters, it made our visit to Port Arthur very enjoyable.
The house is ideal from which to visit the Post Arthur site and the sunrise over the lake was beautiful, with the mist and the swans.
